Temperature sensor
- Temperature measurement for integration into cabinets, stairs, walls, baseboards, or hollow partitions
- Controlled and powered via the Qbus bus
- 4 thermostat functions: Heating, Boost, Cooling, and Alarm in case of over- or under-temperature
- Can be finished with drilled central plates.
Digital temperature sensor, SEN01T, for easy and multifunctional installation (hollow walls, baseboards, ..). These sensors are powered by the Qbus bus and make smart, zonal heating control in a building extremely simple.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do you read an existing configuration?
This is a completely different procedure depending on the type of controller.
- For the CTD controllers this goes as follows:
In the SMIII via "File" or "Utilities / Setup / SD card", click on "Recover QDB from SD".
After confirmation you choose the name and location where the file should be saved. The zipped QDB file is then read from the SD card of the CTD and saved. With a positive answer to the question "Unzip and open restored QDB?", All data will then be immediately available. If the data you were still working on was not sent or saved, you will first receive a notification to do so.
- For a CTL controller follow the following procedure:
Because this controller does not yet have a large memory, only limited data can be recovered. Ao the names are abbreviated to 12 characters and serial numbers are not stored anywhere.
The first step is therefore to type in ALL serial numbers via SMII via "File / Modules". These 6-digit serial numbers can be found on every module (DIN rail, switch, detector, etc.). For the SWC0x switches, an extra option was provided to have them send their serial number via “Search for modules”.
When you then click on the "down arrow", you can read all this limited information.
-
Always use the latest software for configuration.
It is always recommended to use the most recent version. This version supports the newest modules and resolves all known bugs.
If, for example, you enter a serial number and the correct module information does not appear, you are likely not working with the most recent software.
A newer version will always be able to open the older files (.QDB) without data loss.
The latest version of the System Manager software, along with the user manual and version history, can be found in the knowledge center.

Thermostat
Through System Manager, you can assign a Thermostat output to any contact of this module. You can then easily control this thermostat with Qbus Control.
At the bottom, you can choose a regime, which are a number of pre-set temperatures. You can also choose to set the temperature yourself by swiping up/down.
On the left side, you see the measured temperature, on the right side the set one.
With the graph symbol in the top right corner, you can view the historical data.
- 24 hours: Here you see the status of this I/O for the last 24 hours. The line shows you the trend of the measured temperature, the bars show the set temperature.
- 7 days: Here you see the status of this I/O for the last 7 days. The line shows you the trend of the measured temperature,
- 30 days: Here you see the status of this I/O for the last 30 days. The line shows you the trend of the measured temperature,

Function description
The SEN01T module is a bus-controlled and bus-powered module with a digital temperature sensor (SEN01T) or an NTC temperature sensor on a 55cm long wire (SEN01NTC). These SEN01T modules can be installed by the installer in cabinets, stairs, walls, etc. We also offer drilled Niko central plates with a specific hole for the SEN01T temperature sensor. For the installer or end-user who prefers a fully finished sensor module, the SEN01T is available as a fully finished Lithoss switch.
The temperature sensor on the SEN01T can be used as a thermostat to display the temperature in the respective area and control the heating accordingly.
Four different outputs are immediately generated by the System Manager when creating a thermostat output and can be used in any relay module:
1. Heating = the ambient temperature is lower than the temperature of the selected program, the heating output activates.
2. Turbo = the ambient temperature is lower than the temperature of the selected program by a value exceeding a specified limit; the turbo output activates (boost).
3. Alarm = the ambient temperature is more or less than maximum or minimum temperature limits; the alarm output activates.
4. Cooling = the ambient temperature is too high, the cooling output activates.
For the heating and cooling output, the hysteresis can be set between 0.5°C and 5°C.

Installation
These SEN01T modules can be installed by the installer themselves in cabinets, stairs, walls, etc. We also offer drilled Niko central plates with a specific hole for the temperature sensor of the SEN01T. For the installer or end user who prefers a fully finished sensor module, the SEN01T is available as a fully finished Lithoss switch.
Connect the bus cable to the back of the SEN01.

Power supply
The SEN01T is powered via the bus.
Each modules has an unique serial number. By this number the System Manager recognizes the modules.
This is completely explained in our knowledge center.
This temperature sensor can trigger up to 4 separate bistable I/O’s. Each test can be greater or less than a selected temperature. Minimum -27°C, Maximum 100°C with a resolution of 1°C
After entering the serial number or selecting the module, following screen appears:
