Ubiebox Gateway between Qbus, KNX and IoT devices
- Gateway between Qbus, KNX and Sonos, Bose, Symfonisk, Alexa, Hue, IP cameras
- One interface for all systems and devices
- Plug & Play installation
- Automatic device recognition
- User-friendly control via Qbus Control
- Accessible to the end user – no installer needed for daily adjustments
Through Ubiebox/KNX, it is possible to connect your KNX system with your Qbus system, allowing you to control your Sonos music systems, Philips Hue lighting, smart thermostats, smart doorbells, etc., as if they form a single unit.

The configuration for this Ubie is the same as for a Ubie without KNX; see Ubiebox
The only difference is that with this device you can also connect to a KNX installation.
Connecting to a KNX installation
To connect your KNX installation with the Ubie, navigate to https://qbuscontrol.com/Admin and log in with your Qbus Control account.
You will then land on a page where you can select the device you want to configure.
Click on the device you want to configure
Here you can see all the devices configured on your Ubie. To add your KNX installation - click on options (1) and select Configure (2)
- Click on the folder icon and search for the KNX project (xxx.knxproj) you want to use
- Click on start upload to upload the project to the Ubie
- Click on this button to add a KNX output
In this window, we can link KNX addresses to an I/O that can be used in Qbus Control
- Choose the type of I/O you want to create
- Give the output a name
- Here you can add a Write Address (address that will be accessed when the Ubie performs an operation)
- And a Read Address (address that will convey status to the Ubie)
- Choose a suitable icon
- And save this I/O
Below is an example of the window where you can select a write address
Here you see a window where some IOs are already configured:

Additional considerations
- It is possible to import your KNX project once; if you import again, you must restart.
- It is only for controlling KNX outputs (lights and other functions) in Qbus!
- A KNX button cannot be used to control Qbus lighting.
