Charging stations

  • Mennekes

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Mennekes charging stations;

    • Mennekes Amtron Professional
    • Mennekes Amtron Professional TwinCharge
    • Mennekes Amtron Compact 2.0s
    • Mennekes Amtron 4You 310
    • Mennekes Amtron 4You 510
    • Mennekes Amtron 4You 560
    • Mennekes Amtron 4Business 710
    • Mennekes Amtron 4Business 730

     

    Mennekes Amtron Professional

    The Mennekes Amtron Professional can be accessed by default via the network at the IP address 192.168.124.123. The IP address can also be found by using the ‘charge point manager’. This is a Mennekes software: https://www.mennekes.be/emobility/service/charge-point-manager/

    To allow the charging station to be controlled by the energy management module, it must be configured as follows: 

    Access the web interface of the charging station through the browser at the specified IP address

    Login with username: 'operator' and the password provided in the Commissioning Document associated with the charging station.

    1. Go to ‘Load Management’
    2. ENABLE ‘Modbus TCP server for energy management systems’.

    To ensure the energy management module functions correctly, no other settings need to be adjusted. If desired, settings such as the maximum current per phase, authorization, or network can be configured in the charging station's web interface.

    Amtron Compact 2.0s and Amtron 4You 310

    The Mennekes Amtron Compact and 4You 310 charging points must be connected to Luqas via Modbus RS485. 

    Set dip switches 4 and 5 of S1 in the charging station as shown in the figure below to allow Luqas to control the charging station. 

    ! The factory default slave ID of the Amtron laadpaal is “50”. You will need this info in the LQS/LQSCH wizard.

    Mennekes Amtron 4You 510/560 / 4Business

    To allow the charging station to be controlled by the energy management module, it must be configured as follows: 

    • While the charging station is powered, press the top and third button simultaneously until the front panel lights up green for a few seconds.
    • Once this is done, the charging station's Wi-Fi network can be found on a PC or smartphone.
    • Connect to the charging station via Wi-Fi. The SSID and code can be found on the sticker sheet provided with the charging station.
    • Navigate to 192.168.170.10
    • Log in with the installer login provided with the charging station.
    • Logging in is also possible via the 4Installers App.

    • Navigate to the menu ‘Settings’ – ‘Network’ – ‘External Power Management’ and activate ‘Energy Management System
    • Set the parameter ‘Safety Power’ to 6 amperes.
    • Setting a static IP address is possible via the menu ‘Settings’ – ‘Network’ – ‘Local Network’
    • Save and restart the charging station via the interface 
  • Alfen

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Alfen charging stations:

    • Eve Single S-line
    • Eve Single Pro-line
    • Eve Double Pro-line

    To allow the charging station to be controlled by the energy management module, it must be configured as follows:

    Software

    • Install the ACE service installer (alfen.com)
    • Enter username (“Post”) and password (“prEze8”)
    • The software will perform a network scan and automatically detect your charging station.

    Connecting to the charging station

    1. Then select your charging station and log in with 'user level' and password. Select ‘owner’ and enter the password found on the inside of the cover plate of the charging station.
    2. To prevent the charging station from getting a different IP address over time (and thus making Luqas unable to communicate), it is best to set a fixed IP address that falls outside the DHCP range.

    1. To establish communication with the charging station and the Luqas, we need to activate the Active Load Balancing:

    4. Set as Data Source - Energy Management System
    5. The Safe Current is the current allowed when the charging station loses its network connection. Alfen advises setting this to a minimum of 6A.

    2. 1 charging station is controlled individually ('Socket') or multiple charging stations via 1 master charging station ('SCN')

    1. Save the settings and restart the charging station so it can apply its settings. To do this, click on the indicated symbol.
  • Veton

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Veton charging stations;

    • Veton One
    • Veton Two
    • Veton Wall
    • Veton Wall+

    The Veton charging station can be accessed on the network via the IP address ev3000.local. No further configuration needs to be done on the charging station itself. 

  • Blitzpower

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Blitzpower charging stations;

    • Blitz power Wall single
    • Blitz power Wall double
    • Blitz power Tower single
    • Blitz power Tower double
    • Blitz power Push

    The Blitzpower charging station can be accessed on the network via the IP address ev3000.local. No further configuration is required on the charging station itself. 

  • ABB

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of ABB charging stations;

    • Terra AC Wallbox

    Follow the steps below to configure an ABB charging station. The charging station must be connected to the local network via the primary Ethernet port (for devices with MID display) or via the Modbus RS485 connection (for devices without MID display). 

    • Download the 'Terra Config 2.0' app via Google Play Store or Apple store.
    • Log in to the App and connect to the charging station via Bluetooth or Wifi (the smartphone must be connected to the same wifi network as the charging station).
    • Then enter the pin code that was supplied with the charging station. You should now be connected to the charging station and be able to change settings.

    Go to the configuration page of the connected charging station and check that the firmware version is at least v1.6.6. You can update it via the app.

    1. Click on Energy Management to configure the control
    2. Set the installation parameters and select ‘Modbus’

    Select ‘Local controller’ and choose Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP/IP based on the selected connection.

    When choosing Modbus RTU, you need to adjust the settings on the next page: 

    1. Slave ID: If two ABB charging points are connected via Modbus RTU, use Modbus address ‘1’ for the first charging point and Modbus address ‘2’ for the second charging point.
    2. Baud rate: 115200
    3. Parity: None
    4. Stop bit: 1
    5. Data bit: 8
    6. Click save to proceed

    If you choose modbus TCP/IP, fill in the network information that belongs to your network.

    For Server Port, use 502.

    Click "CONFIRM CONFIGURATION

    Restart (power restart) the charging station. The charging station is now correctly configured.

    Use the entered IP address in the configuration wizard of the Luqas module if Modbus TCP/IP was chosen.

  • Enovates

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Enovates charging stations;

    • Enovates ENO one (from firmware v2.10.1.1)

    Follow the steps below to configure the Enovates charging station. The charging station must be connected to the local network via the primary Ethernet port.

    Open the Enosam Configuration Tool from Enovates on a PC that is connected to the same network as the charging station.

    • Click on Discover to find the charging station.
    • Select the charging station and click on Configuration

    • At Modbus TCP/IP EMS, select 'YES', check that the Modbus TCP/IP port is ‘502’ and set a static IP address. This address must then be entered into the configuration wizard of the Luqas.
    • Click on Apply and restart the charging station using the Reboot button.
  • Spelsberg

    Qbus energy management supports the following Enovates charging station types;

    • Enovates ENO one (from firmware v2.10.1.1)

    The Spelsberg charging station must be connected to the local network via the LAN connection socket LAN-1. The charging station can be configured via the Spelsberg Wallbox app.

    • Open the App and select I am an electrician during initial installation and activate service mode. Then select Configure Wallbox
    • Scan the QR code inside the quick start guide and follow the instructions in the app for further configuration.
    • Go to Advanced Settings
    • Go to Network and activate expert settings.
    • Set a fixed IP address after activating Static IP address and confirm.

    Return to the configuration menu after configuring the IP address and click Next

    Configure System Integration and go to Energy Management Systems

    • Click on Modbus TCP and activate the Modbus-TCP server, select Modbus register set ‘Open Charge Control Interface’ and set Modbus TCP server port 502.
    • Click on Continue  to proceed

    Finally, set a safe charging current in case of connection failure: e.g., 6-8A

  • emosS

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of EmosS charging stations;

    • EVA II
    • OMNI

    The emosS charging station is standard accessible via 192.168.5.1. Surf to this address and configure the Phoenix Contact controller. This can be done by importing a configuration file or manually:

    • Login with ID: Operator, password Operator
    • Select the charging point under Charging Park, Charging Stations and create a configuration.
    • Select Phoenix Contact EEM-EM357 under Energy Meter Type
    • Set no measuring device in Load management and do not select a charging point.
    • Configure a static IP address in System Control, Network.
    • Restart the charging point at the end of the configuration.
  • Snigg

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Snigg charging stations:

    • One Wall
    • One Stand-Alone

    Snigg charging points can be accessed by default at the IP address 192.168.123.123.

    Follow these steps to configure the charging point:

    • Navigate to the IP address of the charging station and log in with the manufacturer's credentials
    • Go to Load Management

    • Set the parameter Modbus TCP Server register address group to Open Modbus Charge Control Interface (OMCCI)
    • Click Save and restart the charging station
  • e-RS

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of e-RS charging stations:

    • Single
    • Double

       

    • Navigate to the IP address of the charging station
    • Log in with ID “operator” and password “Operator”
    • Go to “load management”
    • Set the “Modbus TCP server for energy management systems” setting to “on”.
    • Set the parameter “Modbus TCP Server register address group” to “Open modbus charge control interface” (OMCCI).
    • Click save
    • Restart the charging station
  • Easee

    Qbus energiebeheer ondersteunt volgende types Easee laadpalen;

    • This charging station communicates via REST API.
    • Download the Easee Installer App.

    • Connect or create an Easee account
    • Click on the round Bluetooth icon after the login process to connect with your phone.
    • Connect the charging station to your WIFI network or mobile network.
    • Once the charging station is on the network, proceed to the Luqas configuration wizard.
    • In the configuration wizard of the Luqas, enter the details you used to log into the Easee app: Username, password and minimum charging current.

    • Click on “Discover”
    • The charging station is now found
    • Click on “Save”. The charging station is now available in Qbus Control.
    • ! This charging station works via WIFI or 4G, a stable WIFI or 4G signal is required for correct operation. If in doubt, open the Easee Installer App or the Easee user app and check if the signal strength is better than –60 dBm. (-30 to –50 dBm = Excellent; -50 to –60 = Good)

  • Peblar

    Qbus energy management supports the following types of Peblar charging stations;

    • Peblar Home
    • Peblar Business

       

    • Connect via Wi-Fi (SSID of the Peblar hotspot). The SSID and default password are on the charger's flyer/label
    • Log in to the browser and go to “settings
    • Go to ‘Network’ and expand ‘Ethernet’ to adjust the IP mode to ‘Manual’.
    • Select an IP address outside the DHCP range. This address is required in the Luqas configuration wizard.
    • Go to System – Firmware and check for updates.

    • Then go to “Advanced” and verify that “Modbus API” is active and the “access mode” is set to “Read & Write”.

    • Go to the Luqas wizard to add the charging station to Luqas using the charging station's IP address.
  • Hager

    Qbus energy management supports the following Hager charging station types:

    • Witty Plus

    Follow the steps below to configure the charging point:

    • This charging station communicates with LQS via Modbus TCP/IP. The charging station uses a fixed IP address for the connection with Luqas / Luqas Charging Hub.
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone and that you are within range of the charging station. Bluetooth is required for the initial setup and configuration.
    • Download the Hager Charge app.

    • Make sure the network connection method is set correctly (WI-FI). In the app, go to “Charging station settings” → “General parameters” → “Network settings.”
    • Put the charging station into pairing mode by holding a charging card (the black one supplied with the station or another card) in front of the RFID reader for 7 seconds. Follow the instructions in the app.
    • In the app, go to “Charging station settings” and activate “Installation mode.”
    Hager Installatiemodus
    • Go to Load management and select “Energy controller (Modbus TCP)” under Regulation mode.

    • In the Charging station settings menu, go to “General parameters” and then to “IP settings” to check the IP address and change it to a fixed IP address.
  • Zaptec

    Qbus energy management supports the following Zaptec charging station types:

    • Go2
    • Pro

    Follow the steps below to configure the Zaptec Go2 charging point:

    • This charging station communicates via REST API.
    • You will need your username and password to connect the charging station to Luqas / Luqas Charging Hub.
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone and that you are within range of the charging station. Bluetooth is required for the initial setup and configuration.
    • The Zaptec Go2 is set to a 4G connection by default.
    • Download the Zaptec app.

    • Open the Zaptec app and click on the three-dot icon.

    • Select “Install a product” in the opened menu.
    • Select “Zaptec Go.”
    • Scan the QR code located on the front of the charger.
    • Enter the PIN code.
    • Select “Add charger.”
    • Select “New installation.”
    • Fill in the required information: Name, Location, Connectivity, Electrical network, Charging circuit phase, Current limit.
    • Check that the Zaptec is online and has a proper connection by selecting “Configure products.”
    • If the charger is offline, it does not have a proper 4G connection. Click “Switch to WI-FI” to connect your charger to your Wi-Fi network.

    Follow the steps below to configure the Zaptec Pro charging point:

    • This charging station communicates via REST API.
    • You will need your username and password to connect the charging station to Luqas / Luqas Charging Hub.
    • For detailed instructions, go to the Zaptec Help Centre.
    • A Zaptec Pro charging station is added via the Zaptec Portal.
    • Once the charger has been added to the portal, you can configure it via the Zaptec app.
    • Select “Configure products.”

    • Connect the charging station to the network.
    • Confirm the electrical network and settings.
    • Check that the Zaptec is online and has a proper connection by selecting “Configure products.”
    • If the charger is offline, it does not have a proper 4G connection. Click “Switch to WI-FI” to connect your charger to your Wi-Fi network.
    • Assign the installation owner in the Zaptec Portal.
