Qbus Control allows you to (limited) share your account with other Qbus Control users.
Some practical examples:
- For example, your children are only allowed to control the devices in their room. You can create an account per child and invite them via your main account to control only their part of the house.
- You have an outdoor area that you share with other people. You would like to allow them to control the devices in your outdoor area without having access to your private home.
First, invite the persons to create an account on https://qbuscontrol.com.
Using their e-mail address, you can then invite them.
On your aacount, open the Settings page.
- Click Manage access.
- Here you will soon see who has access to your account.
- Here you will soon see which account you have access to.
- Click + to share your account.
- Enter the e-mail address of the user you want to invite to control (part of) your installation.
- Here we have 2 columns - Check the Groups you want to share:
- Read: Only allows the user to see the status of a device.
- Operate: Allows the user to control a device.
3. Click the arrow to go to the next step.
That's all. The user you invited has now received an e-mail with your invitation.
On the user's account
- Under Settings - Manage access.
- Can accept the user to add your shared groups to his account.
- Navigate to Settings - Groups the user can now see your groups.
And control
On your account
