The new Qbus controller grows along with your installation — from 10 to 150 modules — using expansion cards.
We’re proud to introduce our new controller, fully developed according to the Qbus DNA. It is simple, flexible, and future-oriented. Thanks to expansion cards, the controller can be scaled entirely to the customer’s needs.
The new Qbus controller is built entirely around our core values: simplicity, flexibility, and future-proof.
- Simplicity: One product for both small and large installations (buildings).
- Flexibility: The controller is fully scalable via the expansion card, allowing it to adapt to the needs of any installation.
All controllers have the same module width (4 DIN), so installers can build the cabinet independently of the installation size — now or in the future. The new controller is also fully compatible with all existing Qbus modules.
Unlike the previous CTD series, bus load limitations are now based on the exact number of connected modules, not on the bus’s power consumption.
The controller is available in three different versionss: CTD10: up to 10 Qbus modules, CTD40: up to 40 Qbus modules, CTDmax: up to approx. 2 x 75 Qbus modules.
Key Features
- Always two 1000 mA bus connections: higher bus power allows more modules, displays, and Tastu switches
- Ethernet port: for programming and visualization via Qbus Cloud
- SD card: securely located behind the cabinet cover, only accessible to the installer
- Energy-efficient: new bus control system reduces heat generation
Qbus Controller – Expansion Card
The expansion card (EXP15) contains a scratch-off code that can be entered in System Manager. Once activated, the controller immediately supports 15 additional Qbus modules.
- The CTD10 and CTD40 can each be expanded per 15 modules using the EXP15 card.
- A CTD10 can be expanded with up to 4 expansion cards, effectively becoming a full CTDmax (approx. 2 x 75 modules).
- The CTDmax cannot be further expanded.
