Installer Dashboard

With the Qbus Installer Dashboard, you manage, monitor, and support all your Qbus installations centrally from one online platform. Through secure login, you can access your projects anytime, anywhere, allowing you to create installations, link devices, configure cloud interfaces, and test systems remotely—even before handing over to the end customer. 

The Installer Dashboard allows installers to log into their customers' Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control accounts. It also provides the ability to modify the configuration of the Qbus Controller or a Luqas module remotely.

Thanks to real-time monitoring, you continuously gain insights into the status of each installation and can proactively address faults or discrepancies. 

Analyze error messages, consult log files, adjust configurations, control logic, and user interfaces remotely, and quickly resolve technical issues without unnecessary travel.

Moreover, the platform offers access to documentation, training, product information, and firmware updates, ensuring you always have the right tools and information to work more efficiently and optimally support your customers.

  • Add Installations

    To manage an installation, a Ubiebox (for Qbus Control) or a Ubiebox/BC (for Qbus Building Control) must be installed at the client's site.

    Under Installations (1) you have an overview of the already active installations (2) and you can add installations (3).
    Click on Add Installation.

    Choose New installation (1) if you want to add an installation where you have not yet installed a Ubiebox or Ubiebox/bc.
    If the customer's installation is already active on Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control, then choose to add an Existing installation (2).

    New Installation

    1. Select here whether to register the installation on Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control
    2. Enter the customer details here.
    3. Click Next to proceed

    Finally, you have the option to purchase a license in advance for this installation. If you wish to do this later, you can skip it by clicking Add Installation.

    Existing Installation

    If a Ubie has already been added to the installation at your client's Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control, you can provide the above code to the client. With this code, they can grant you permission to manage their installation.

    On the customer's account, go to Installations (1) and open the detail screen of the installation (2) that you want to activate.

    You can add 2 installers to each installation. Click here on Add My Installer (1) to proceed.

    1. Enter the code you received on the Installer Dashboard here
    2. Check if the installer is allowed to operate the installation
    3. Check if the installer is allowed to remotely upload a new configuration with System Manager

    You can log into Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control for every installation that has been added using the Login (1) button.

    Status page

    If you click on an installation, you will be directed to a status page where you get an overview of the installation.

    1. Here you can see the name and email address of the owner of the installation
    2. If a license is active, you can see how long it will last and purchase a new license
    3. Mark this installation as a favorite
    4. Login to the installation was approved by the owner
    5. Configuration upload was approved by the owner
    6. Here you can log in to the customer's account
    7. If the installation includes a Luqas, you can log into the Luqas Wizard here to adjust the settings

    Devices

    1. This page displays all the devices linked to the selected installation.
    2. The 'main' device is always a UbieBox or an UbieBox/BC.
    3. Under the main device, you can find all activated devices.
    4. From here, you can also activate a new device.

    When a new device is added, it will also automatically appear under "installations" on Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control. Adding a device can also be done via "installations" in Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control and it will automatically appear in your IDB.

    By clicking on a device, you arrive on this page. This shows you all the information about this device at the top.

    At the bottom, you have a list of configurations that have been sent with System Manager and can be activated from here.

    To add a new device, you need the serial number and the activation code.

    General Information

    1. Here, you can view and edit the location of the installation (5)
    2. These are the details of the installation owner
    3. The name and email address of the lead installer
    4. And here you can optionally add a second installer
  • Adjust configuration

    As an installer, you can make changes to a QDB file and upload it to the customer's installation. 

    The customer can manage the rights for the installer under their installations on Qbus Control or Qbus Building Control. See the option box "yes, the installer can upload configurations for my installation".

    IDB SM1

    If the option Yes, the installer can upload configurations for my installation is checked, the configuration will be uploaded immediately. Otherwise, the customer must first accept the configuration before it is uploaded to their installation. They will receive a push notification on their Qbus Control or Qbus Building control application.
     

    The configuration can now be modified via the System Manager.

    1. Click here to open the Installer Dashboard tab.
    2. Enter the details of your account on Installer Dashboard
    3. Click here to display your installations

    1. Select which installation you want to upload the QDB to
    2. Select which controller you want to upload the installation to
    3. Click here to upload the currently open QDB to the Installer Dashboard
    4. If any changes have been made on the Installer Dashboard in the meantime, you can synchronize with this button
    5. This button takes you to the page where you can activate licenses
  • Licenses

    Click "Licenses" to purchase and manage licenses.

    Under "Available Licenses" [2], you will find an overview of your purchased Qbus Control (QC) and Qbus Building Control (QBC) licenses that have not yet been assigned to an installation.

    Click "Purchase License" [3] to buy a license for Qbus Control (valid for 1 year or 10 years) or Qbus Building Control (valid for 1 year or 5 years).

    Under "Purchase History" [4], you can view an overview of all your purchased licenses.

    [5] After creating an installation, you can manage it until it is handed over to the customer or for a maximum of 3 months after the installation is created. If you wish to continue using the full functionality of Qbus Control, Qbus Building Control, Luqas Wizard, and programming via System Manager after this 3-month period, you must assign a license to the installation.
