QDB files (configuration files examples)

These small sample configuration files (.QDB) show how you can configure certain things in a Qbus system with a CTD controller in a simple and correct way. These are divided into 3 categories (Basic, Standard and Advanced). You must at least use System Manager III V3.15.0 to open these files. Starting with V3.16.0, you can also import them into an existing QDB.

Bas- 2 Scenes on 1 button (long and short push)

Bas - Dimmer via detector

Bas -Relais and Dimmer controlled by intelligent switch

Bas - Shutter controlled by an intelligent switch

St - Detector and Manual

This example shows how you can switch an output via one or more motion detectors and a button.

St - Output controlled via detector and clock

This example shows how you can switch an output via multiple MDI detectors in low light

St - Multiple detectors in same room

This example shows how you can switch an output via multiple MDI detectors in low light

St - Relais and dimmers simultaneously controled via multilink

This example shows how you can simultaneously dim or switch multiple outputs via one control.

St - Shutters and screens simultaneously controled via multilink

This example shows how you can simultaneously command multiple shutters or screeens via one control.

St - Multizoen heating with one boiler

This example shows how you can control the temperature in multiple zones with 1 boiler

St - Close awning when too much wind

This example shows how you can close the awning when there is too much wind.

St - Shutters or screens operated by daytime

This example shows how you can have shutters automatically controlled by the astronomical daytime

Av - Push short (On-Off) - long (scene)

Av - Dimmer controlled by day or Night (logic)

Control one or more dimmers via logic if day or night.

Av - Dimmer controlled by day or Night (CTD FW>=3.04)

Control one or more dimmers via 'Daytime'

Av - Dimmer controlled with detectors and buttons if day or Night (logic)

Control one or more dimmers with detectors or buttons via logic if day or night.

Av - Turn on lighting when the alarm is switched off after sunset

Turn on one or more lights if the alarm is switched off after sunset. When the alarm is already off and the sun goes down, the lights are NOT turned on.

AV- Control Air conditioning unit via Modbus with thermostat control by unit itself

Controlling (Daikin RTD-net) air conditioning / heating unit via a MODBUS interface where the temperature is controlled by the unit itself. Qbus only reads the measured room temperature and does not send a set point.

Av - Dim SWC Leds during night

Dim the LEDs on all SWCs during the night. All switches can be 'awakened' for 5 seconds. The 'Living' switch also stops the alarm function.
